Starbucks recently had a "Happy Hour" special. For about a week, you could order a frappucino and get it for half the price from 3-5pm. This was extremely exciting for me since I am a huge Starbucks fan. This special event was to encourage customers to get creative and mix & match the ingredients for their frappucinos. There was even a little form to fill out, letting you get as specific as you wanted.... "Let's see...I'll have a coffee frappucino: Three shots of carmel syrup, an extra shot of espresso, 2% milk, light on the whip and a drizzle of chocolate to top it all off." I didn't actually order this, but it definitely is a possibility!
As I think I've mentioned before, I adore salads. I think what I love so much about them is that they can drastically change themes. You can have a cold, asian salad with mandarin oranges and little asian noodles...or you can have hot beans and rice over lettuce and make a delightful mexican salad with strips of tortilla. Basically, a salad can be just about anything your mind can think of! Just like a creative Starbucks frappucino!
This gets me thinking of a new idea for a restaurant. All you can get is salad, but the fixins are all over the map. Whatever your little heart desires! Just fill out the form and make your own personalized salad! Of course there would be more WAY more choices than what I have listed, but you get the idea!
Now, I can relate to this!! I live on salads:-) The photo looks so yummy. I will get some apples for my next creation!! Mandi, you are amazing how you can come up with a connection between Starbucks and Salads:-)
